Is Jenna Ortega Featured In The New Season Of ‘You?

Before Jenna Ortega became Wednesday Addams, she starred in other hit Netflix series. Ortega played Ellie Alves in season 2 of You and quickly became the girlfriend of prominent man and serial killer Joe Goldberg ( Penn Badgley ), barely escaping this season of her life.

Although Ellie did not appear in Season 3, her character was mentioned in Season 4, leaving the door open for her return.

Addams, Lisa Loring, died on Wednesday at the age of 64

Jenna Ortega had to sacrifice her vegan diet during Wednesday's session in Romania.

Your runner Sera Gamble announced that the writers plan to have Ortega appear in the new season of the series. However, there are some scheduling conflicts and this is not possible. "We wanted Ellie to come back and be like, 'Oh, Jenna brought some kind of show,'" Gamble told IndieWire . "It's been great to see Jenna this year. If Ellie's schedule allows her to come back, we have ideas for her."

It turns out that Ortega is filming Wednesday , the series that earned him a Golden Globe nomination this year.

In an interview with Teen Vogue , Ortega talked about her role in You and revealed that she wants to return to the series and get revenge on Joe. "It was great to see Ellie come back and take control of her life," he said. "I just want him to be a bigger badass. I don't want him to come back and be this sensitive and sad. We have to remember that even though people still find Joe a little charming, he's bad, he does bad things. she's shunned because of her race and her position in society. [Ellie] has so much potential and so much talent that she can't be wasted."

Marvel Snap Featured And Hot Locations Explained

Marvel Snap Featured And Hot Locations Explained

The second developer dinner offers plenty of incentive to stay involved with Marvel Snap, especially with hot and popular spots. These in-game events make certain locations more likely to appear, motivating players to change their tables. But what are Favorites and Hotspots and when do they start? Here's what you need to know.

Decent location

Featured locations are the Marvel Snap events, which introduce multiple new locations at a faster pace. A new spot with 40 % of the audience premiered at the event. An example is Plunder Castle, where you can only play cards that cost 6 energy. "Special Places" airs every Tuesday at 10pm ET and runs for 48 hours .

Now Playing: The Best Mobile Games of 2022

After the 48 hour period, the featured locations will be combined into a regular location pool with the possibility of appearing in the regular game. So even after the "Recommended Position" period has expired, it's a good idea to know the position in order to adjust whether or not it's displayed during gameplay.

Hot location

Hot spots are similar, but 60% of the time they focus only on regular pools. This means that you won't find new locations when hot locations are available, but instead you'll see locations that appear in regular games, such as Onslaught Citadel, Asgard, or Hala (among dozens of others). Hot Locations airs live on Saturdays at 10pm EST and runs for 24 hours only. Therefore, they have a higher view rate than selected countries, but only include countries you know.

It's important to at least know the highlights and common traits so you can build your deck around them or plan your matches. Even if you have a solid deck, you can easily miss certain points if you don't know how they work.

For example, if the hot spot is Luke's Bar (if you play a card here, return it to your hand), you'll want to equip a card with some type of effect that triggers every time it's played, like Scorpion or Iceman. . . Knowing this can turn the game in your favor.

The products discussed here were independently selected by our editors. GameSpot may share revenue if you purchase something on our site.

Philadelphia Phillies Have Two Players Featured On Elite List

Philadelphia Phillies Have Two Players Featured On Elite List

© Courtesy of Inside the Phillies FanNation

The Philadelphia Phillies have added two players to one of the most coveted rosters in MLB.

With Spring Training and the 2023 MLB season right around the corner, all sorts of lists and rankings are coming out of every publication. However, MLB has released a list of the best players at every position in baseball.

There are two Phillies players on the 10-man roster: catcher JT Realmuto and shortstop Turner.

Realmuto is affectionately known as the "Best Catcher in Baseball," or BCIB, among the Phillies faithful. His Gold Glove plate protection, basepath speed and consistent bat combination make him one of the most elite catchers in the league.

A career in 2022 also helps.

As for Turner, the Phillies made a deal. The shortstop reportedly earned more money to come to Philadelphia than anywhere else, and MLB named him the best shortstop in all of baseball heading into the season.

Here's what Manny Randhawa had to say about Turner in his ratings:

"As he prepares to don a Phillies uniform for the first time, Turner is at the top of the charts heading into the 2023 season. Although he got off to a slow start last year, he posted a .686 OPS in a 30-game season. He is hitting .306/.348/ with 20 homers. He took off hitting .487 and spent the rest of the season with the Dodgers posting 22 steals and a career-high 4.9 WAR. At 30, Turner could be what makes Philadelphia a champion. It will be a winning season that culminates in a World Series title."

The Phillies will be without Harper for most of the first half of the season, but the addition of an impact player like Turner should help alleviate that problem.

Speaking of Harper, the Phillies could very well have three players on this roster if he hadn't had surgery.

Dangerous things.

More from SI's Inside the Phillies:

He's Made It There: Naples Grad Jonas Duclona Featured On Times Square Billboard

Jonas Duclona received the text and took a few minutes to take the picture that was sent to him.

There was a billboard in New York where he was dressed in a Wisconsin uniform and said "Welcome to the Badger family."

Big 15: See Dunbar, Naples, First Baptist, Lehigh 2022 K 5-on-1.

Four Napoli High School football players marked an autograph event

Varsity, Name, Image, and Logo (NIL), hosted a 15-minute video Wednesday morning in Times Square on behalf of Wisconsin student-athletes for the 13 transfers and six early signings that were part of the first. 2023 Coach of the Year Luke Fickell 27-player recruiting class. Duclona signed with Wisconsin in December and was an early draft pick in Madison.

This was the first edition of the Naples Daily News to feature a Times Square video billboard in Duclone. It is located above the Yard House in midtown Manhattan at 575 7th Ave.

"It's great to see me and my teammates on such a big stage," Duclona said. "Your hard work over the years has paid off, but this is just the beginning."

Locals don't need to travel to New York to see one of Duclone's larger-scale photographs. The Varsity Collection will be moving to Naples on February 6 with a Coastland Mall billboard.

"Having a billboard in my city means a lot to me," Duclona said. Because all my people see that and know what you did to get here that makes it special.

Despite the attention, Duclona knows that he cannot be indifferent. He's hoping Times Square won't be the last time he'll be in his college career.

"Right now, my focus is on getting my body ready for a full Big Ten season," Duclona said. "As a freshman, my goal is to compete and get on the field early."

Explore The Founding Of ‘Ms. Magazine And The Making Of A Space Telescope Photograph In This Months Featured Podcasts

Explore The Founding Of ‘Ms. Magazine And The Making Of A Space Telescope Photograph In This Months Featured Podcasts

The National Portrait Gallery's portrait podcast concludes its fourth season with a look at Ms. – "More than a magazine, a movement", as the label of the publication says. When a preview issue hit newsstands in December 1971, its provocative cover made it clear that this was a magazine that challenged the then-dominant notion that women's publications should be about fashion and weight-loss advice.

Portrait editor Kim Saget spoke with activist and author Gloria Steinem, co-founder of Ms., and Suzanne Brown Levine, the publication's first editor, for a glimpse into how they decided to bring the feminist magazine to the world.

Having spent much of the 1960s covering sexism in her chosen profession, journalism, Steinem had no interest in creating another publication that would appease advertisers who portrayed women as abstractions, sex objects, bald nurses and posed no threat.

I thought again and realized that if I were to submit the manuscript to the Sunday New York Times , maybe I shouldn't trust my editor to give me a choice: I could go to his hotel room in the afternoon, or I could send the letter. by mail, while I was gone, Steinem told Sajet: "I sent the message, but thanks to a change of conscience, I realized that it was not right to talk about it."

Levine remembers what it was like during his first week at Ms. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and a man in the elevator chided him for his casual clothes not being appropriate for work. However, he tells Sage that he understands that what feels like liberation is a threat and a concern to others.

Saget notes that in 1969, Time magazine referred to women's rights activists as "The Angry Ones." The women were determined to present a broader and more nuanced view of feminism than was reported in mainstream news magazines at the time.

"Anger is always one of the most discouraging and unacceptable responses women have," says Levine. "You know, you walk past construction workers and they say, 'Why aren't you smiling, honey?'

Sajet and Levine discuss how independent women are traditionally portrayed in magazines as brutish and lonely. Levine notes that the illustration of Susan B. Anthony on the cover of the Daily Graphic in 1873 was so unflattering that she looked like an "angry nun."

The first issue of Women featured an article on how to write a prenuptial agreement, an article on how to raise children without exposing them to sexual thoughts, and a shocking story called "We Had Miscarriages" by tennis pro Billie Jean. King, by singer Judy Collins and Steinem herself, along with 50 other leading actresses. The article included an invitation to unsubscribed readers to add their names. This helped convince Levine, who had kept her abortion a secret until then, that the loss was something he wanted to be a part of. After all, he worked for the magazine for 16 years.

How do you present an honest and thoughtful flyer in a market where, as Steinem points out, the idea of even photographing a woman without makeup is unthinkable?

For the cover, she and her colleagues chose artist Miriam Wosk's illustration of a blue-skinned, eight-armed, multitasking pregnant woman dancing in ruby-red heels on a grassy hill, with a black-and-white cat sitting on her right. . the ankle.

The first idea was to try to "get every woman on the cover," Steinem told Sajet. We have [illustrations] of big faces, and the faces have different skin tones. But his face looks very strange. It does not work as an optical image. So Miriam found a way to show a woman inspired by Krishna, the Indian deity with many weapons. Making it blue is one way to make it universal. She has a child in her womb, she has an iron and a typewriter, a mirror that represents her beauty and a telephone. Besides, women have to act, so tears rolled down her cheeks.

Levine provides additional context for the illustration, which shows a woman doing chores and errands at the same time. "It became kind of a symbol, you can have it all," he said. "That shouldn't be the message, because everybody understands that you can have everything, but not everything at the same time. It's almost a way of getting us back to where we can't have everything."

"A picture is worth 1,000 words," the Jan. 12 episode of Aerospace, the National Air and Space Museum's podcast, reveals how human "image processors" process data collected by the James Webb Space Telescope (and observatories of others) and turn them into vivid images, pulsating to life. A fascination that has gripped everyone's mind since NASA began releasing long-range images last July.

"Astronomers like to call telescopes light buckets because they really do collect light," astronomer Shawna Edson told guests Emily Martin and Matt Schindel.

The James Webb Space Telescope, to follow suit, not only observes the Universe from a vantage point inaccessible to humans, orbiting the Sun from an L2 Lagrange point a million miles from Earth. Like an infrared telescope, it collects light in parts of the spectrum that the human eye cannot see. Translating these images into images requires some interpretation, and it is the work of interpretation that provides the colors and patterns that appeal to us so deeply.

For this, the images are interpreted , but no less realistically. These are difficult things to understand, but Edson gives the listeners a clear and convincing explanation: "It's not what your eyes will see, but it's all real light. We haven't found anything. We get these data, this information, the light that these telescopes collect for us… and we see it." ".

"We colorize," he adds, to improve human understanding of the image. "Color is not what our eyes see, but information, data and light are all real… We're just amplifying what's already there. So we can make hydrogen and oxygen red green around us for help us see. : Where." are they [elements] in the mist? How did the star explode?" Where are the different temperatures? Your eyes will not see it.

The episode builds on its title "A picture is worth 1,000 words" by discussing alternative text and other tools aimed at making visual documents such as astronomical images accessible to the blind or partially sighted.

Martin and Schindel read examples of flowery and even poetic alternative texts and compare them to more utilitarian texts. There is no wrong version. One is somewhat more subjective and a more generous evaluator than the other. Schindel reminds us that not everything in science is science. There is also room for poetry.

The Smithsonian Institution offers a variety of podcasts for all listeners.

BUFFALO – Climbing mountains above the Mediterranean Sea in Mallorca, Brad Burns looks like a seasoned pro. With only water below to avoid a nearly 50-foot drop without a rope, Burns accidentally deviated from his set course, but used his strength to rise to the top, throwing his fist in the air before making a celebratory leap.

Burns, a 2018 graduate of Buffalo High and Story resident, is a cast member of Climb , the new HBO Max show that pits 100 aspiring climbers against each other for $100,000 and is sponsored by lifestyle brand prAna.

Six episodes were produced online at the time of publication, with Barnes writing for a fourth series.

Just 21 years old when the competition starts in October 2021, Burns is the youngest and most inexperienced contestant at just five years old.

"There was a lot of pressure in the beginning," he said. “I think it's very easy to get imposter syndrome. I remember going there the first week and talking to everyone and hearing about everything they had accomplished on the trip and everything they had accomplished in their lives, and I thought, "Man, am I really here? Despite this, Barnes has established himself in the local climbing community. has made a name for himself. He is a mountain guide for Bighorn Mountain Guides and chairman of the Bighorn Hikers Coalition. The show's producers found him through his YouTube channel and social media and called him to propose.

After several interviews about his life, climbing experiences and various safety tests, Barnes traveled to Spain for his first competitive climb.

"I love hiking," he said. "This is the biggest passion of my life, so I will definitely take every opportunity to step up and climb something new." According to Barnes, Spain is a popular haven for hikers who want to challenge themselves. He established himself as one of only two climbers to scale the rock while solo climbing in deep water in Mallorca. There, and in Catalunya, the climbing location of both shows, riders must climb the same limestone that Burns used to climb Bighorn. "They are very similar in foot type and rock style," he says. – not excessive; This is often a lot of vertical stretches or climbs, which we call technical climbs. The only thing that is really different is that Majorca has no ropes or ties and we are in the Mediterranean. Barnes said the nine other climbers on the show taught him a lot. It was also directed by Jason Momoa and his climbing idol Chris Sharma.

"Hai" is different from other competition shows on television. Athletes encourage and support each other, even if one person's success means being sent home to another.

"Everybody wants everybody to succeed and it was a really good experience," Barnes said. "I'm less stressed because I feel like everyone is there to support me."

In Catalonia, Barnes and eight other climbers took part in a regular rock-climbing game at Tenslip Canyon, a local climbing mecca. Out of the remaining nine athletes, he was the only athlete to cross that difficult path.

Attendees called him a "child prodigy" and "the best of Wyoming." Bouldering, the weakest climbing discipline, also paves the way to the top.

Barnes was eliminated in the fourth episode while climbing a cave wall in Spain. He graduated from Montana State University last May with a bachelor's degree in cell biology and neuroscience and will enter medical school this year. He currently practices in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he teaches adaptive skiing to people with cognitive and physical disabilities.

Of course, he hikes when the weather permits. And he is very grateful to his hometown.

"I started hiking in the Johnson and Sheridan area," Barnes said. "I had a lot of mentors and a lot of people who supported me in my education and climbing, and I really appreciate that."
