There was to be no fairytale rescue act for Collingwood Magpies, who have officially gone under, but they’ve been replaced for the 2024 Super Netball season by Melbourne Mavericks, led by celebrated head coach Tracey Neville. We’ll get to see them in action for the first time at the Team Girls Cup. Here’s where to watch Super Netball live streams online for FREE – from anywhere, including the pre-season tournament.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the Team Girls Cup, it’s that you don’t want to win it – but you want to come close. By some quirk of fate, West Coast Fever were runners-up in the inaugural pre-season tournament and came second in the ladder, but won the premiership. Adelaide Thunderbirds trod exactly the same path last season.
It’s a coincidence rather than a pattern but even so, there’s going to be a lot of speculation following the beaten Team Girls Cup finalists this season.
The eight teams have been split into two pools for the pre-tournament at Sydney’s Ken Rosewall Arena, which runs from Friday, 22 March to Sunday, 24 March. The pool games will take place on Friday and Saturday, with Sunday reserved for finals action.
Follow our guide to get a Super Netball live stream from all over the world – including any FREE streams. We’ve also included the details of live Team Girls Cup coverage, and the pools.

Poland were unusually inconsistent in Euro 2024 qualifying, finishing third in Group E behind table toppers Albania and runners-up Czech Republic. The Eagles even contrived to lose to minnows Moldova in a stunning 3-2 upset last June. That defeat brought about the sacking of manager Fernando Santos, the Euro 2016-winning boss replaced by U21 coach Michal Probierz. Unbeaten in four games under the new man, Robert Lewandowski & Co. will look to continue their improved form.
Estonia are the lowest-ranked side left in qualifying. Though the Blueshirts failed to win a single one of their Group F fixtures, picking up a solitary draw with Azerbaijan among seven defeats in a group that also contained Belgium and Austria, they have reached the playoff stage by dint of being the best group winner from League D of the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League. That they only had to come through Malta and San Marino doesn’t augur well, though, and nor do the 22 goals conceded in qualifying. Konstantin Vassiljev, the 39-year-old captain, has his work cut out.
The winner of Poland vs Estonia will go on to play either Wales or Finland in the Path A final in Cardiff on March 26, with the winner of that game joining the Netherlands, France and Austria in Group D at this summer’s Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.

Wales are just two wins away Euro 2024 qualification. Head coach Rob Page’s options will be boosted by the return of winger Rabbi Matondo, Hibernian midfielder Dylan Levitt, and captain Aaron Ramsey from injury, while Rubin Colwill, Joe Low and Charlie Savage have been promoted from the U21s to add some extra options.
Finland’s final two group games produced six points – they beat Northern Ireland and San Marino – but that still wasn’t enough to finish in the automatic qualifying spots.

At MWC 2024, Google announced a new feature for Google Maps for Wear OS. This feature shows you public transit options to reach a location. The company reiterated the feature in the March 2024 Pixel Feature Drop. Now, it has finally started rolling out the feature.
According to a new report from 9To5Google, Google is making public transit directions available in version 11.119.0702.W of Google Maps for Wear OS as a server-side change. If you have this version of the app on your Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 5, or Watch 6 series smartwatch, you should be able to see the public transit option soon. If not, make sure to update the app from the Google Play Store on your watch.
With this feature, when you search for a location, Google Maps will show you the new Transit option along with the Driving, Walking, and Cycling options. Once you click on the Transit option, the app will show you how you can reach the location using public transport, including showing you how to reach the nearby station, which train or bus to catch, and the arrival/departure timings for those buses and trains.
MGM Plus – the streaming service known as EPIX before Amazon completed its takeover of MGM in 2022 – provides viewers with a wealth of entertainment for a very reasonable fee.
Given that Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the streaming platform’s namesake, has been around for a 100 years now, film buffs and telly addicts get to enjoy an impressive library of hit movies and TV series both old and new.
There are more than 2000 films to stream, ranging from Oscar-winners such as American Fiction to iconic comedies, Hollywood epics, documentaries, and franchise favorites, alongside recent blockbuster releases (Top Gun: Maverick).
The platform is also home to dozens of binge-worthy shows such as the Emmy-winning Godfather of Harlem.
Unlike a lot of VOD services, MGM Plus doesn’t bother viewers with ads, so members can enjoy on-demand entertainment and four, 24/7 live streaming channels without interruption – making it an very attractive proposition for film and TV fans.
What is MGM Plus?
MGM Plus is a premium linear cable and satellite television network and streaming service. Formerly known as EPIX, it was rebranded as MGM Plus in January 2023. It offers a wide range of movies, classic and contemporary TV series, music specials, documentaries, and four live channels (like MGM Marquee) with 24/7 programming.
How much is MGM Plus?
It costs $6.99 for a monthly subscription to MGM Plus. Alternatively, it’s $58.99 currently for the service’s annual plan, which is billed every 12 months.
Is there an MGM Plus free trial?
Yes! If you’re a first-time subscriber to MGM Plus, then you’re eligible for its 7-day free trial. When the trial period ends, you’ll be billed every month until you decide to cancel.
What’s the cheapest way to get MGM Plus?
You can knock $2 off your monthly bill when you opt for the annual plan through MGM Plus. So, if you like what MGM Plus is selling, you can currently save 30% by paying the annual $58.99 fee once every 12 months (which works out at a reduced rate of $4.92 a month) rather than the monthly $6.99 price tag.
Sling TV is also comparable it terms of cost effectiveness, when adding MGM Plus to that service as a Premium add-on. We’ll explain this in more detail below.
Is MGM Plus only available in the US?
MGM Plus is restricted to US markets-only right now. However, plans have been announced to expand the service into territories in Europe, such as Austria, Germany, Italy, and The Netherlands.
How to watch MGM Plus
There are multiple ways to sign-up for MGM Plus: through your cable or satellite provider; directly to MGM Plus via your web browser; as a Premium add-on through an MVPD platform like Fubo or Sling TV; and via apps on Android tablets, phones and Android TV devices, Apple iOS and Apple TV devices, and Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
Sling TV offers one of the cheapest ways to watch MGM Plus. You’ll need to pick a base Sling Orange or Sling Blue plan (from $20 for the first month, from $40 thereafter) and then add MGM Plus (under Premium channels) for an extra $5 a month. There’s no free trial available, but the Sling TV price is undoubtedly one of the best value out there.

There are free trials available on offerings from Fubo, YouTube TV, Philo, and DirecTV Stream. These tend to range from 5 to 7 days long. Philo offers both great value and a free trial for both the base plan and the MGM Plus add-on. Once each of those 7-day free trials expire, the monthly cost will set you back $25, plus $7 for MGM Plus.
Along with Fubo TV, DirecTV Stream on the more expensive end of the spectrum. You’ll pay $79.99 a month for the entry-level Entertainment package (after your 5-day free trial). MGM Plus and other premium add-ons are complimentary for the first three months after registration, however, and cost $5.99 a month extra thereafter.
Alternatively, you can keep things simple. Subscribe via your Roku, Amazon Fire TV device, or through the app. You can add the service to your Amazon Prime Video, Google or Apple TV accounts too, or sign-up directly through the MGM Plus website. Each route gifts new MGM Plus members a 7-day free trial. Once that trial period ends, subscribers are charged the basic $6.99 per month rate unless they decide to cancel.

Geo-blocking makes it tricky to watch MGM Plus when you’re away from home but you can get round that problem with a VPN. A VPN can make it appear as if you’re in any country you choose.
That means you can watch your streaming service MGM Plus from anywhere, and there’s a great deal currently available with one of the best VPNs around.
What are the best MGM Plus shows?
In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon is the latest acclaimed series to join the MGM Plus archive. The platform also hosts TV classics alongside exciting original programming, so viewers can enjoy throwbacks Cagney and Lacey and The Outer Limits, alongside MGM Originals like the Emmy-winning Godfather of Harlem, sci-fi thriller Beacon 23, Billy the Kid, and From, the gory, gripping horror series starring Harold Perrineau.
And, if that’s not enough, MGM Plus boasts a number of rock docs, unscripted stand-up shows, and dozens of unmissable movies past and present to suit every mood (The Silence of the Lambs, Mean Girls, Top Gun: Maverick, and Oscar-winner American Fiction, to name a few).
It’s almost time for another Microsoft livestream event, the first since September of last year. The festivities start at 12PM ET on Thursday, March 21. The best way to watch everything unfold is via the official Microsoft stream; it doesn’t look like they’ll have a stream on YouTube this time. This is the first Microsoft live event without former chief product officer and longtime keynote presenter Panos Panay, who departed for Amazon last year.
What to expect from Microsoft
The event is being advertised as a “new era of work”, so there’s going to be a major focus on the commercial space. There are plenty of rumors that Microsoft will take the opportunity to unveil a spate of new Surface devices. Windows Centralclaims that an OLED Surface Pro 10 and a Surface Laptop 6 will headline the event.
The Vergesuggests that both devices will only feature minor spec bumps compared to the previous generation. There’s also conflicting reports as to whether or not these Surface devices will get a more comprehensive redesign later in the spring to suit non-business consumers. We won’t know until Thursday.
Microsoft
There’s one safe bet. Microsoft will continue its commitment to AI. Rumors swirl that the Surface Pro 10 and Laptop 6 will be powered by Intel Core Ultra and Snapdragon X Elite silicon CPUs with next-generation neural processing units (NPUs) that have been designed specifically for advanced AI tasks. To that end, there are reports that these devices will be called “AI PCs” and will include a dedicated button to bring up the company’s Copilot digital assistant. The Intel variants are expected to launch in April, while the Arm-based Snapdragon ones will reportedly show up this June.
AI, AI and more AI
The rumor mill has been grinding overtime for this event. Reports also suggest that Microsoft will unveil a suite of new AI features that could be coming to Windows computers, including real-time captioning and translating, upscaling and frame-rate smoothing for games and upgraded Windows Studio Effects.
There’s also likely to be something called AI Explorer announced at the event. This is rumored to be a built-in timeline feature that is searchable via natural language. It’ll reportedly live on your device and log everything you do and see. So, you could ask AI Explorer to “find that thing I looked at earlier about dinosaurs” and it would search through every moment in your PC’s history to find the relevant content. This could be a privacy nightmare, but it could also finally make digital assistants actually useful. We fully expect Microsoft to offer security assurances when it comes to AI Explorer.
These AI features won’t be exclusive to the Surface Pro Pro and Surface Laptop 6, as reports indicate they will be part of the company’s annual feature update for Windows 11, which is expected this fall. Engadget will offer full coverage of the event and will spotlight all of the interesting tidbits.

Out of the many dozens of options, which is the coolest Apple Watch face? Every time I see someone wearing an Apple Watch, I try to scope out which watch face they use. Nine times out of 10, they use either the Modular face or the Photo face (with a Sport band).
This is despite the Apple Watch offering dozens of watch faces, allowing for all kinds of customizability.
First, let’s go over how to add a new Apple Watch face. If you’ve never done it before, it’s easy. Just tap and hold on your Apple Watch screen. Scroll all the way to the end of your list of currently installed watch faces, then tap the big + icon on the New screen. Scroll through the gallery and tap Add when you find a new Apple Watch face you want to add.
To customize the watch face, tap and hold on it, then tap Edit. On most watch faces, you can scroll with the watch’s Digital Crown to change styles or colors. Swipe left to edit the complications; tap on a complication to replace it with something else.
Best Apple Watch face for fitness: Activity
There are a few versions, a digital and two analog faces. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The best Apple Watch face for fitness is the Activity watch face. It comes in three versions — two analog and one digital — all of which put your Move, Exercise and Stand rings front and center, with room for three complications. By default, they complications come set to Weather Conditions, Workout and Heart Rate. You also can customize the color of the clock.
With your rings so prominent on your wrist all day, you’ll be less likely to forget to close them.
Best Apple Watch face for relaxation: Breathe
All the variations come with fun animations. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The best Apple Watch face for relaxation is Breathe: A simple analog clock with a choice of four beautiful animations. Every time you look at your wrist, you’re reminded to take it easy.
It’s practical, too, with space for three complications around the edge. By default, they launch the Mindfulness app and show your weather conditions and heart rate.
Best Apple Watch face for nurses: Modular Duo
Modular Duo has room for two big, rich complications. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The Best Apple Watch face for nurses and other busy people is Modular Duo. The Modular Duo watch face pushes the clock up to the top, leaving space for two of the bigger complications. You can have two big Calendar and Activity complications, for keeping an eye on your tight schedule. And with Mindfulness in the upper corner, you have a quick shortcut to take a breather.
Best Apple Watch face for two time zones: GMT
Two time zones on the same watch! Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The best Apple Watch face for two time zones if the GMT watch face. It shows one time zone with the watch hands and a different time zone of your choosing in 24-hour time around the edge. Tap the screen to pick a time zone from one from the preset list or from a city you have set in the Clock app.
You will find four complications around the edge. Personally, I would swap out UV Index for Messages or Weather Conditions.
Best Apple Watch face for sleeping: Numerals Duo
An easy-to-read simple watch face for the weary-eyed at 4 am. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The best Apple Watch face for sleeping is Numerals Duo. The Apple Watch has a built-in sleep feature, but some people find it annoying in use. The Apple Watch locks down, so if you want to check notifications or turn on its flashlight, you first have to hold the Digital Crown in.
If you want to wear your Apple Watch to bed without the sleep feature, you can still prepare yourself a nighttime watch face. Numerals Duo is a good choice for that — the big obvious numbers make it easy to read if you’re up in the middle of the night and bleary-eyed.
I recommend setting the color to red, which is easiest on the eyes in a dark room.
Apple Watch face with most complications: Infograph
Infograph offers the most complications on a single Apple Watch face. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The Apple Watch face with the most complications is Infograph. This watch face packs in an incredible eight complications. It’s no wonder Infograph is the watch face of choice for Apple CEO Tim Cook himself. Infograph gives you four corner complications and four more in the center, all cleverly arranged to still be legible.
I recommend the Your Schedule complication in the sub-dial top position, as it puts both the current date and your upcoming calendar appointment on the edge of the clock. Most of the preset complications are pretty good as is, but I would swap a few of them out for Messages, Now Playing and Maps.
Best minimal Apple Watch face: Nike Digital
Apple’s example images are pretty bad colors, bright red and brown, but the Nike Digital watch face comes in some good ones. I promise. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The best minimal Apple Watch face is Nike Digital. The time is giant and easy to read from a distance. It gives you room for three small complications — two icons and a line of text on the bottom, useful for Calendar or Now Playing.
Unfortunately, you can’t replace the Nike logo with a fourth complication, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one.
Cool Apple Watch face: Numerals
A vague and casual Apple Watch face. Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
A cool Apple Watch face prefect for the weekend is Numerals. The giant digital number makes it easy to read the hour, and the minute hand gives you a vague idea of the time. That’s all you really need on a lazy Saturday. There’s room for one complication, but I always use it without.
Best Apple Watch face for pilots: World Time
I heard you like clocks! We put every clock into one singular clock! Screenshot: D. Griffin Jones/Cult of Mac
The World Time watch face puts the biggest city from every time zone onto one watch face. In addition to your local time, you can see the time around the entire globe in a 24-hour clock around the edge.
And there’s still plenty of room for complications — for a pilot or flight attendant, I would recommend Calendar, Weather, Messages and Flighty.

A nickname like La Classicissima takes some living up to, but in the case of the Milan–San Remo the braggadocio is entirely justified. Thanks to the race’s composition, solo attacks, bunch sprints and breakaways both large and small have each paid dividends over the years. The first half of the route is essentially flat, with a gentle climb up the Turchino marking the midway point of the race. Then it’s flat again – until the three capi, Capo Mele, Capo Cervo and Capo Berta, come into play.
The trio of modest bumps offer a taste of what’s to come in the decisive final 20km of the race. First the Cipressa, which rises at 9% at its steepest, then the Poggio, which arches up at 8% 1km before the summit, making it the perfect springboard for an attack.
It’s where Tadej Pogacar made his move last year, though the Slovenian was beaten to the finish on Via Roma by Mathieu van der Poel. Both riders are back to do it all over again, though the Dutchman is on the road for the first time following his cyclo-cross heroics last month. Italian hopes will be carried by Filippo Ganna, last year’s runner-up.

Scotland could secure their first Triple Crown in 34 years at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, an achievement that under normal circumstances would be monumental. But it could have been so much more. This should have been the 2024 Six Nations decider, but instead many Scots are hoping it marks the end of Gregor Townsend’s tenure.
While they had every right to be incensed at the refereeing decision that robbed them of victory against France, Scotland could have no complaints about last weekend’s shock defeat to Italy, who last won a home Six Nations game 11 years ago.
It all-but killed Scotland’s title hopes a week too early, and to compound the pain of throwing away a 12-point lead, Ireland subsequently lost to England. If Scotland had just held their nerve, this game would have been a straight shootout for the Six Nations trophy.
Instead, the championship is Ireland’s to lose. The reigning champions would have to leave the Aviva Stadium empty-handed and – barring implausible margins of victory for Scotland or France – England would have to beat Les Bleus with a bonus point in the late game for that to transpire.
The Ireland vs Scotland kickoff is at 4.45pm GMT / 12.45pm ET / 9.45am PT on Saturday, March 16. In Australia, that’s 3.45am AEDT on Sunday, March 17.
Ireland vs Scotland venue
Saturday’s game will be played at Dublin’s 51,711-seater Aviva Stadium – still known by its predecessor’s name Lansdowne Road by many fans – with its famously low North Stand.
