Rebel Moon Part 2 isn’t the epic sci-fi sequel we hoped for – here are 3 better sagas to stream

[ad_1]

Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scargiver, the second instalment in Zack Snyder’s Star Wars-scale epic, is getting some decidedly mixed reviews. The Guardian says that while it’s fun, it’s also bombastic and derivative, Variety says the story’s worse than the first one but the battles are better, and Empire Magazine pretty much cuts it in half with a laser sword that just happens to resemble a lightsaber.

According to the film magazine, the sequel is “marginally better than Rebel Moon – Part One, but still a weird, messy and humourless sci-fi”. Empire isn’t exactly waiting with bated breath for more movies, describing the tease of further adventures as “half-arsed” and saying that the second movie “gives you little reason to cheer the potential continuation of this Snyderverse“.

How to watch Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2024: live stream men’s cycling online from anywhere

[ad_1]

The 2024 UCI World Tour returns to Belgium this weekend, with the gruelling roads of the Ardennes facing the planet’s best riders. They don’t come much tougher than La Doyenne – ‘The Old Lady’ – the oldest of the classic Monuments races. Here’s where to watch 2024 Liège-Bastogne-Liège live streams online for free – and from anywhere in the world with a VPN.

It’s a real pity that 24-year-old Belgian Remco Evenepoel has been denied the chance to become only the fifth man in La Doyenne’s 132-year history to win it three times in a row. The current number one-ranked rider broke a collarbone in a crash a fortnight ago and is hoping to get fit enough to make his Tour de France debut and Olympic Games later in the year.

Following news that Meta’s Quest 3’s getting some big mixed reality upgrades including an AI that can recognize furniture and improved passthrough quality, there’s yet another improvement on the way this time for one of my favorite Quest apps: YouTube.

That’s because the VR version of the video-sharing platform now supports 8K video playback on Quest 3 – up from the previous max of 4K.

Prime Video’s Fallout series is getting high scores – here are 3 smart sci-fi shows to stream next

[ad_1]

Fallout, Prime Video’s adaptation of the beloved game franchise, appears to be a hit: it’s currently sitting with 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and a whole bunch of rave reviews.

Inverse says it’s “as utterly addicting as it is innovative, and could very well become the new benchmark for the video game prestige series as we know it”, while Uproxx says “it manages to tread new ground within a genre that’s been covered almost too extensively thus far, mining comedy from its most mundane horror elements”.

The Razer Stream Controller is down to its all-time low price

[ad_1]

Streaming can be an art form in its own right and made all the more enjoyable with the proper tools — though they don’t always come cheap. That’s why the 26 percent discount currently running on the Razer Stream Controller is so exciting. The sale brings the all-in-one keypad down from $270 to $200 — a return to its record-low price.

Razer

Razor launched its Stream Controller back in 2022 as a competitor to Elgato’s Stream Deck — albeit at a much higher price point. To be fair, the device offers quite a lot for the cost, including 12 haptic switchblade keys, six tactile analog dials and eight programmable buttons. The haptic switchblade keys have customizable icons and, of course, have adjustable haptic feedback. The tactile analog dials control audio levels and the programmable buttons can make regular actions all the more accessible — and speedy.

The Razor Stream Controller works with Mac or PC and has integrated support for platforms like Discord, Twitch and Spotify. It’s also good for any artists looking for a new creative device, as it works with Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and more.

Samsung’s Bespoke Range can stream videos and clean itself

[ad_1]

Samsung’s new Bespoke AI appliances really seem to be the perfect choice for anyone, especially Galaxy fans and tech enthusiasts. I never thought I’d be interested in a home appliance like I’ve been in Samsung’s Bespoke family recently, but here we are. The more I learn about Bespoke, the more I want a dream kitchen enabled by Samsung’s clever technologies.

Samsung’s new home appliances are smarter and adopt mobile technologies to a greater extent than you might think. And one of the things that really caught my eye when I saw Samsung’s new Bespoke Range with Smart Oven is that it can live stream to the user’s phone.

That’s right! The Bespoke Range is equipped with what Samsung calls a “Smart Over Camera.” The Range connects to the internet via Wi-Fi, and with the help of the Smart Oven Camera, it can live stream videos to your phone through the SmartThings app anytime, anywhere. You can even record your cooking remotely.

This feature is extended into the social media world. Users can take snapshots and create time-lapse videos of their cooking, which they can then share on social media.

And because the Bespoke range is integrated with SmartThings, it also makes cooking easier. Users can download settings for various cooking modes, such as “Spare Rib,” Brownie,” or “Pizza,” to name a few, directly to the oven. When a mode is picked, the oven sets the optimal temperature automatically.

An oven that cleans itself

I must admit I’m not the best of cooks, and in small part, that’s because I find traditional kitchen appliances rather dull and because I don’t enjoy the cleaning process nearly as much as I enjoy the cooking. I’d use my oven more often if the cleaning part was less tedious.

You can imagine my surprise when I learned that Samsung’s Bespoke Range — whether it’s gas-powered or electric — has a “Self Clean” oven. Samsung says this mode, called Self Clean, “deeply cleans your oven with high heat that breaks down grease and food residue.”

And if you don’t want to go all-in on the deep-cleaning process, the Bespoke Range with Oven has a “Steam Clean” mode for a lighter cleaning process that’s only 20 minutes long. This Self Cleaning mode alone kind of makes me want to have a smarter kitchen. I’m not sure it would make me a better cook, but it would probably make the cooking process a lot more fun.

Samsung’s Bespoke kitchen appliances are more than just simple equipment for cooking food. And the way they integrate with mobile technology is something some of us could only dream of a few years ago. I never thought I’d say this, but they probably are the best choice for tech enthusiasts and smartphone users.

If you want to buy a new Bespoke Range from Samsung, you can now save up to $900 on the new models with Smart Oven Cameras.

How to watch Paris–Roubaix 2024: live stream men’s cycling online

[ad_1]

Bring on the mud, the tears and, best of all, the cobblestones. Nicknamed the ‘Hell of the North’, the Paris–Roubaix is the third Monument of the year and, for many, the greatest cycling race on the calendar. Here’s where to watch 2024 Paris–Roubaix live streams online for free – from anywhere.

Swipe to scroll horizontally

Whether you prefer to call them cobblestones, pavé or setts, there are 29 sections of them on the 2024 Paris–Roubaix, covering 55.7km of the 259.5km route. Not only do they hurt like hell to ride over, but they cause pandemonium too, perforating tyres, rattling frames and joints alike, and defying tread come rain or shine.
