Samsung starts selling Bespoke Jet Bot Combo in Korea, USA

[ad_1]

In December 2023, Samsung unveiled the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo, the company’s first robotic vacuum cleaner and mop. At CES 2024, the company showcased the product to the public. Fast forward to yesterday, the brand launched the robotic vacuum cleaner and mop with other Bespoke AI products globally, and today, the tech giant announced that it has started selling the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo in Korea.

Samsung says that it held a live shopping event for selling the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo on the company’s official website, as well as on three other shopping platforms in the region, 11 Street, CJ Home Shopping, and G Market. The brand says that it will hold live shopping events on other platforms as well to sell the new robotic vacuum cleaner and mop, as well as expand the product’s sales to offline stores.

Samsung has priced the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo in Korea at KRW 1,79,00,00 (approximately USD 1,328) and is offering the product in two colors, Satin Greige, and Satin Charcoal. People who purchase the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo through live shopping events will get the Samsung Bluesky Air Purifier for free, various discounts on different payment cards, and other benefits including membership points.

Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo features

The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo can vacuum as well as mop your home. It has multiple rotating brushes for gathering dust during vacuuming, and two pads for mopping that can rotate at up to 170 rounds per minute (RPM) for removing stains from the floor. The robotic vacuum cleaner and mop has a total of five sensors, including a LiDAR sensor and a 3D sensor, for mapping your home and detecting obstacles.

It comes with an All-in-One Clean Station with Auto Steam, which can automatically empty the Jet Bot Combo’s dust bin, fill it with clean water for mopping, and wash its mop pads with warm water (at 100-degree Celsius) and steam, which, according to Samsung, eliminates 99.99% of bacteria including E. coli, and dry the mop pads with hot air (at 55-degree Celsius) to prevent odor and the growth of bacteria.

Also available in the US starting today

Starting today, Samsung has made the Jet Bot Combo available to purchase in the US as well. It comes in two variants: VR7MD97714G and VR7MD96514G. The former costs USD 1,399 and the latter costs USD 1,099. From what we could gather, the only difference between the two is that the VR7MD97714G has a 3D sensor, whereas, the VR7MD96514G doesn’t. Both models are available in only one color in the US.

Best Buy Selling M1 MacBook Air for $650, a New All-Time Low Price

[ad_1]

Best Buy is selling the 13-inch M1 MacBook Air for $649.99, which is the lowest price that we’ve seen to date on the machine. Best Buy’s price drop comes just hours after Walmart started selling the M1 MacBook Air for $699.

M1 MacBook Air Deals Feature WarmNote: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with some of these vendors. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

Just after Apple announced the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, Best Buy started selling the M1 MacBook Air for $750, so the price has come down $100 in the last 10 days. The model that Best Buy has for $649.99 is the entry-level version with 8GB Unified Memory, an 8-core CPU, a 7-core GPU, and a 256GB SSD.

Apple discontinued the M1 MacBook Air on March 4, which is why we’re seeing such low prices on remaining inventory. The M1 MacBook Air first came out in 2020, so it is four years old at this point, but the Apple silicon chip is still more than adequate for day-to-day tasks. $649 is a great price for those who want to get an Apple silicon Mac while also saving some cash.

As the M1 MacBook Air is no longer being manufactured, available supply is likely to dry up soon. For deals on other Macs, make sure to check out our dedicated Deals Roundup, which we updated regularly.

Walmart is selling the M1 MacBook Air for only $700

[ad_1]

The M1 MacBook Air has dropped to its lowest price ever, thanks to a sale at Walmart. You can pick one up for just $700, which is $50 cheaper than the previous low and a whopping $300 discount from the original asking price. If you’re looking for an entry-level Apple laptop, this is a mighty fine option.

Devindra Hardawar/Engadget

Now, the M1 Air is over three years old and a full two generations behind the newly-released M3-equipped laptops. Despite getting a bit long in the tooth, the M1 chip is still no slouch, so this MacBook Air is plenty capable. It’s a solid machine that excels with basic everyday computing tasks, like streaming content and surfing the web. It’ll even do fine with light video editing and music production. We called it “faster than most PCs” in our official review back in 2020.

That doesn’t exactly track anymore (the march of progress and all) but the M1 Air features a gorgeous Retina display and no fan noise to speak of, in addition to an excellent keyboard and trackpad. The battery life is great, going for over 16 hours before having to hit the outlet. That’s only an hour or two shorter than the new M3 MacBook Air computers.

Apple Silicon chips are pretty dang impressive, but the M1 will struggle when you go beyond everyday computing tasks and into the worlds of serious video editing and AAA gaming. Also, the M1 laptop still has that wedge-shaped design, whereas the newer models feature a uniformly flat design. Some people actually prefer the wedge, but I’m not one of them.

This is the bare-bones standard M1 Air with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 720p webcam isn’t going to win any visual clarity awards, but it’ll get the job done. This isn’t the most future-proof computer around, as Apple recently discontinued it, but it’s also $700. The M3 MacBook Air starts at $1,100 and the M2 starts at $1,000.

Best Buy has the M1 Air on sale for even cheaper, at $650. This is one heck of a deal but it looks to be tied to specific locations. The retailer’s also offering open box models.

TipTop Shop App Offers Single-Transaction Buying, Selling and Device Trade-Ins

[ad_1]

TipTop, an app for trading in used devices and getting instant cash, today launched a new feature called Shop. With TipTop Shop, users are able to buy new, open box, and refurbished items, while also trading in old devices at the same time.

tiptop shop
The feature allows customers to sell items, trade them in, and/or buy new devices in a single transaction. It is a unique option for a trade-in/device selling app, as there is no need for a multi-step process when upgrading to a new device.

Now, with TipTop Shop you can purchase any item and, at the same time, trade in any device from any manufacturer. Cross brand trade-in is an industry first, as other trade-in programs rely on multiple step transactions, gift cards or other complicated arrangements.

Want to trade in your Samsung Galaxy for a new iPad? No problem. An Apple HomePod mini for a solid discount on the new Nintendo Switch? You bet. Trading in your iPhone for a Nothing Phone? We can help with that. And TipTop can do it all in one tap.

TipTop was founded by Bastian Lehmann, the founder and CEO of Postmates, and its marketing VP is former TechCrunch editor-in-chief Matthew Panzarino. The app’s trade-in prices are similar to the prices offered by Apple, though it offers more than Apple on some newer devices and less than Apple on older devices.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store for free. [Direct Link]

Walmart Begins Selling MacBook Air With M1 Chip for $699 in U.S.

[ad_1]

Walmart today announced that it has started selling the MacBook Air with the M1 chip in the U.S., with pricing set at a very reasonable $699. The laptop can be ordered now on Walmart.com, and it will be available soon at select Walmart stores.

Walmart MacBook Air M1
This is the first time that customers can purchase a Mac that is sold directly by Walmart, the company said in a press release. Some other retailers like Amazon and Best Buy have previously offered this model for as low as $749.99.

Apple first released the MacBook Air with the M1 chip in November 2020, as one of the first Macs with an Apple silicon chip instead of an Intel processor. The configuration being sold for $699 includes the M1 chip, 256GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM/unified memory, with Gold, Silver, and Space Gray color options available. Walmart’s product listing says the MacBook Air is in brand new condition, so this is not a used/refurbished model.

Apple discontinued the MacBook Air with the M1 chip earlier this month, following the launch of new MacBook Air models with its latest-generation M3 chip. Prior to being discontinued, the model was being sold for $999 brand new. Apple continues to sell refurbished MacBook Air models with the M1 chip, with pricing starting at $759.

While the MacBook Air with the M1 chip is around three and a half years old, it is still a very capable machine for many average day-to-day tasks. However, it has an older design and has fewer remaining years of macOS compatibility than the latest MacBook Air models, so those aspects should be factored into your purchasing decision.

Apple Begins Selling Refurbished iMac With M3 Chip in Canada

[ad_1]

Apple this week added the latest-generation iMac with the M3 chip to its certified refurbished store in Canada for the first time since the computer was introduced in October. As a reminder, availability in the U.S. began last month.

M3 iMac Feature Teal
As usual for Apple’s refurbished products, the refurbished iMacs are discounted by approximately 15% compared to the equivalent brand new models, with pricing starting at $1,439 CAD. A variety of configurations and color options are available.

All of the usual accessories are included in the box, including a Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, power adapter and cord, and USB-C to Lightning cable.

Apple says it puts refurbished Macs through “full functionality testing” and a “thorough cleaning process and inspection,” and they are covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty and eligible for extended AppleCare+ coverage.

In our view, Apple’s refurbished Macs are virtually indistinguishable from brand new ones, providing a good opportunity for savings directly from Apple.

Apple also began selling refurbished 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips in Canada last month.

Business Selling Tips: How To Use Customer Testimonials For Selling Your Business Online

In the world of business, perception is often reality. When you’re preparing to sell my business online, creating a compelling narrative around your company can be the key to attracting the right buyer. One invaluable tool in this process is customer testimonials. These are not just words of appreciation from satisfied clients; they are potent assets that can help you successfully market and sell my business online.

In the digital age, potential buyers want to see, hear, and feel the proof that your business isn’t just an attractive prospect. They want hard evidence of your business’s real-world value and the impact it has had on its customers. That’s where customer testimonials come in.

1. Building Trust

When a potential buyer stumbles upon your business listing, their first thought is, “Can I trust this seller?” The business world is filled with all sorts of sellers, and it’s only natural that buyers are cautious. In this scenario, customer testimonials are like the golden ticket to gaining trust. They provide third-party validation of your business’s worth, making it easier for a buyer to feel confident about the investment.

So, where do you use these testimonials? Your business listing should prominently feature them. Potential buyers should see these endorsements right from the get-go, reassuring them that your business is a safe bet.

2. Showcasing Real-World Success Stories

In a world filled with advertising and marketing gimmicks, real stories from real people hold tremendous power. Testimonials are, in essence, real-world success stories. They speak to the tangible benefits and positive experiences that customers have had with your business.

To effectively sell my business online, use specific stories that highlight how your business has made a difference. Let your customers explain in their own words how your business solved their problems or added value to their lives.

3. Diversity Matters

Variety is the spice of life, and that holds true for customer testimonials as well. Your customers come from diverse backgrounds and have varied experiences with your business. Use this to your advantage while selling your business online. Showcase testimonials from different demographics and industries. A diverse range of testimonials sends the message that your business is inclusive and appeals to a broad audience.

4. Proof of Performance

When you have multiple testimonials showcasing your business’s standing, it acts as social proof. The more people who validate your business, the more convinced potential buyers become. It’s a bit like joining a party that’s already in full swing – nobody wants to be the first on the dance floor, but once it’s crowded, everyone wants to join.

5. Trustworthiness

Psychologically, when a person sees other people, especially peers or people like them, praising your business, it triggers trust. This perception is what you need to capitalize on when you sell my business online. When potential buyers read testimonials from people they can relate to, it creates a sense of trust. They may even feel an emotional connection, which is a compelling factor in making a purchase.

6. Quantify the Benefits

Your testimonials shouldn’t just be vague praises; they should quantify the benefits of your business. Instead of a testimonial that says “we had a great experience”, “a client increased their sales by 40%”, or, “a client saved three hours a day”; are far more impactful statements. Quantifying the benefits reinforces the actual impact your business has and makes it even more attractive to potential buyers.
