Samsung has never been a proponent of extremely fast smartphone charging speeds. The fastest charging speed on its phones and tablets is 45W, and even that speed is only used until the device reaches 50% battery. Samsung now has a charger that offers up to 50W charging speed.
Samsung 50W Super Fast Charging Adapter pricing
The company has launched the 50W Super Fast Charging Adapter (model number EP-T5020) in some European countries. It is priced at €69.90, as spotted by Roland Quandt. It has two fast-charging USB Type-C ports. The top port can offer up to 50W fast charging speed when only one device is charged.
Both USB Type-C ports can offer up to 25W charging speeds when two devices are connected to the charger simultaneously. So, you can charge to Galaxy smartphones at 25W. You can get up to 50W charging speed when using a Galaxy Book laptop. This charger supports the USD PD PPS protocol.
This new dual-port USB Type-C charger from Samsung hasn’t been launched in many other countries, and we hope it comes to other countries soon. Samsung sells an even more powerful charger, the 65W triple-port EP-T6530, but it is aimed at Galaxy Book laptops.
Game on the go with this Nintendo Switch dock and charger combo. Photo: Cult of Mac Deals
For Nintendo Switch gamers, it’s all about portability. But let’s face it: That Super Smash Bros. session can end all too early if you’ve forgotten to fully charge up the device. That’s just one of the problems solved by this $35.99 portable Nintendo Switch dock and charger.
Again, this is much more than a simple Nintendo Switch charger, but it does that job impressively. It uses USB 3.1 Type-C PD to deliver 36W of fast charging. Better still, you can game without fear of overheating or blowing your voltage thanks to a smart GaN chip that regulates the output.
Another major bonus? You can also use it to charge compatible phones and tablets.
But here’s the best part. While your Switch is plugged in and charging, you can use the HDMI port to route the feed to your smart TV or other monitor. Games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Monster Hunter Rise deserve a big-screen presentation. And this Nintendo Switch dock and charger lets you do just that. The HDMI port can accommodate 4K screens at an impressive 60 Hz, ensuring Switch gamers don’t miss any graphics details.
You get all that in a hub that weighs just a few ounces and is small enough to fit in your back pocket. There are many Nintendo Switch accessories that can enhance your gameplay, but this might be the only one you truly need for gaming on the go.

Anker 3-in-1 Power Bank Fusion
Anker makes a lot of chargers and power banks. Now it adds a new hybrid to the lineup. The new Anker 3-in-1 Power Bank Fusion powers gadgets like iPhone on the go, or uses a built-in USB-C cable and a USB-C port to power devices when plugged in.
The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 22.5W output as a power bank. And when you plug it in with its folding prongs, it outputs 30W to attached devices even as it recharges its own battery.
On the device you’ll find the built-in USB-C cable plus a USB-C port on top. So that’s a 2-in-1 design for juicing up two devices at once. And it’s a 3-in-1 when you plug it in to charge the device itself while you charge other gadgets.
And Anker 3-in-1 Power Bank Fusion lets you know how it’s battery is doing. An LED display states the current battery capacity as a percentage of full.
Fusion features:
3-in-1 charging lets you transition between devices (includes USB-C port, an integrated USB-C cable and a foldable AC plug).
Built-in USB-C cable
Two-way fast charging: Plug in for a 30W charge to power your devices quickly, or switch to battery mode for a consistent 22.5W charge.
Power bank recharging options: an AC plug or the built-in USB-C cable
Here’s what comes in the box: the power bank/wall charger (30W, built-in USB-C cable), welcome guide and an 18-month warranty.
Power Bank Fusion comes with a launch discount. That’s not unusual for Anker. So you can buy the $40 for $33.99 while the discount lasts. And that’s in effect at Anker as well as Amazon.
This 3-in-1 power bank and wall charger includes a 5,000mAh battery, a built-in USB-C cable and a foldable AC Plug. When plugged in, it delivers 30 watts to iPhone 15 and other devices.
Apple no longer sells the MagSafe Duo, its two-in-one charger for the iPhone and Apple Watch, but if you’ve found yourself with a charger-shaped hole in your life, Twelve South’s new ButterFly might patch it right up.
Similar to the MagSafe Duo, the ButterFly comes with two magnetic charging pucks in a fold-up design. It can simultaneously juice up an iPhone and an Apple Watch or your AirPods, and Twelve South claims it is “the world’s smallest 2-in-1 USB-C MagSafe charger.”
Popular accessory brand Mophie today announced the launch of new iPhone charging products that use the new Qi2 wireless charging standard. Qi2 is similar to MagSafe in that it is able to charge compatible iPhone models at up to 15W rather than being limited to 7.5W.
The $70 Snap+ Wireless Charging Vent Mount is designed for use in the car. It is able to attach to a vehicle’s vents, and it comes with a 30W USB-C car adapter and USB-C cable. A MagSafe-compatible iPhone is able to attach to the charger magnetically, and it will charge at 15W.
Mophie’s Snap+ Wireless Charging Vent Mount is available today, and two other products are coming in April. The $130 Snap+ 3-in-1 Wireless Charge Stand has an upright 15W Qi2 charging pad that works in landscape or portrait mode, plus it can be tilted to an ideal viewing angle.
There’s also an Apple Watch charging puck that can fast charge compatible Apple Watch models at 7.5W, and a 5W charging platform at the bottom that is designed to work with AirPods. All three devices can charge at one time.
Mophie’s $70 Snap+ Powerstation Mini with Stand is a charging stand that comes with a 5,000mAh internal battery for charging the iPhone while on the go. Like Mophie’s other Qi2 products, it is able to charge an iPhone at up to 15W. The Powerstation Mini and 3-in-1 Charge Stand will launch on April 30.
Qi2 products from Mophie and other manufacturers are compatible with the iPhone 13 models, iPhone 14 models, and iPhone 15 models. Older iPhones do not support Qi2 charging speeds.

Journey’s new Axie 10,000mAh Global Charger and Power Bank is a handy, MagSafe-compatible 3-in-1 charging device that comes with three extra plugs and a travel case for use worldwide.
It’s designed for international travel. But it’s a great little charger for use at home, too, as a wall charger or as a power bank you can take on the go to keep your iPhone and two other devices juiced.
Journey Axie 10000mAh Global Charger and Power Bank review
Journey’s new Axie 10000mAh Global Charger and Power Bank is one of those devices that’s worth some oohs and aahs straight out of the box. It’s a nice presentation. The sturdy box has its own little fabric handle. And once you open it, most items are stored in Axie’s handsome travel bag. It will hold what you need for charging gadgets whether you’re headed down the street or around the world.
Inside the fabric bag, I found the Axie charger and power bank with a U.S. plug installed plus a USB-C charging cable in one section of the soft case. And in a little box in the other section there were three international plugs that work throughout most of the world (EU, UK and AU plugs). The case flap attaches magnetically and has no handle on it.
Under the case in the box, a little recession holds a small envelope with the user manual and a magnetic ring you can attach to the back of your iPhone for a very secure fit on the charger’s magnetic platform.
Axie’s USB-C cable for charging snaps onto the device and you can adjust the length (a little). An iPhone charges right on that circular platform (or via USB-C cable). Photo: David Snow/Cult of Mac
Simple to use
The U.S. plug comes installed on the Journey Axie charger/power bank. Each of the other three plugs can slide right over it, one at a time. There are EU, UK and AU plugs. Those three styles cover the majority of countries in the world. So you can just tuck Axie and its plugs in your luggage and go.
And one of the cool things about Axie is that is can be used as a wall charger or a power bank. You can plug it straight into a wall outlet (or into an adapter via USB-C cable) and use Axie’s MagSafe compatible platform for a MagSafe iPhone (or another iPhone or smartphone using the magnetic ring that comes in the package) or a QI-enabled device like an AirPods Pro case. And there are two USB-C ports to charge other devices. Three ways to charge gives you options.
So even if you don’t have a wall outlet to use, Axie’s 10000mAh power bank can put out 35 watts of power, including 15W for an iPhone on the platform and the rest via the two available USB-C ports.
Everything you need fits neatly in the travel bag (with or without that little box for the international plugs). Photo: David Snow/Cult of Mac
Journey Axie features:
3-in-1 charging for three devices: 20W shared between two USB-C ports plus 15W for MagSafe wireless charging.
Global power kit (10000mAh): AC power input, multi-country plugs, 0.7-foot/22cm braided cable, 10000mAh built-in power bank and a travel bag.
Specifications:
Capacity: 10000mAh
Input: AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz, O.8A max; DC PD 35W max
Output: PD 30W max as wall-charger; PD 35W max as power bank; 15W wireless charger as power bank)
Warranty: 1 year
In the box:
Axie charger and power bank
EU/UK/AU plugs
Braided cable with magnetic clip
Travel bag
Magnetic ring for iPhone
User manual
Bottom line: Journey Axie is a handy gadget
While testing the Journey Axie for this review, I found the global charger and power bank quite handy and useful for charging small gadgets like iPhone and AirPods Pro 2. (You’ll want to charge laptops another way.) I didn’t have an international trip planned, so I couldn’t test its plugs properly in various countries. But those three international plugs look perfectly legitimate and they fit neatly over the U.S. plug on the charger. I recommend Axie as a portable charger, especially for anyone traveling internationally.
