iPad Air hits all-time low price

Forget the M2 iPad Air and get the iPad Air 5 for $150 off.

Apple’s iPad Air lineup could get a refresh soon. But if you cannot wait for the new tablet’s imminent announcement and want an iPad Air, you can score a hefty $150 off on it right now.

This fantastic deal drops the price of the M1 iPad Air to $449, making it insanely affordable.

2022 iPad Air is sleek and powerful

With the 2022 iPad Air, you get a sleek tablet with a big 10.9-inch display. The tablet is slimmer than a pencil, which makes it easy to carry around.

The iPad Air lacks Face ID and a 120Hz ProMotion display like its Pro sibling. Instead, it sports a Touch ID sensor on the side button. Unless you are a power user, you won’t feel the lack of the 120Hz panel. Other downgrades include stereo speakers, a single rear camera, and no Thunderbolt support.

Inside the iPad Air is an M1 chip. The same SoC powers Apple’s 2023 iPad Pro, 2020 MacBook Air, and other devices. This means the tablet packs enough power to run your favorite iPadOS apps and games, like Final Cut Pro.

Despite so much power in such a slim package, Apple claims the M1 iPad Air provides up to 10 hours of battery life.

Save $150 on M1 iPad Air

At $599, the iPad Air is already a few hundred dollars cheaper than the iPad Pro. But if you take advantage of Amazon’s latest deal, you can save $150 on the tablet and get it for $449.

Since the entry-level iPad Air ships with 64GB storage, you should get the 256GB model. It retails for $749, but with Amazon slashing $150 off, you can have it for $599. That’s the same price you would have paid for the 64GB model. You can score a similar $150 off on the M1 iPad Air cellular variants.

This deal might not last for long, so grab the iPad Air variant you want before stocks run out.

iPad Air 5 with M1 chip

Apple’s 2022 iPad Air packs a big 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, a powerful M1 chip, and a claimed 10-hour of battery life in a slim and light package.

M1 MacBook Air drops to all-time low price of $649

MacBook Air M1 2020
2020 MacBook Air drops to $649 after a massive discount.

Apple discontinued the M1 MacBook Air following the debut of the M3 Airs earlier this month. But you can still get your hands on the first Apple silicon laptop for as low as $649.

Best Buy is taking a whopping $350 off the M1 MacBook Air, making it insanely more affordable.

2020 MacBook Air’s performance and battery life will impress you

Apple announced the MacBook Air with M1 chip alongside the 13-inch MacBook Pro in late 2020. It was the company’s first Apple silicon laptop, and it blew the competition away with its performance, efficiency, and battery life.

Following the launch of the M2 MacBook Air in 2022, Apple cut the price of the M1 model to $999. Despite its dated design, this made the M1 Air a great entry-level machine for college students and light use. The all-day battery life is a cherry on top. It ensures the laptop lasts through a day of heavy use with ease without overheating despite its fanless design.

While reviewing the M1 MacBook Air for Cult of Mac, our editor, Leander Kahney, opened 650 Safari tabs. This was with several tasks running in the background, including downloading Photos and Office 365. If anything, this should give you an idea of the M1 MacBook Air’s incredible performance.

The same pros and cons still apply in 2024. If you can live with the M1 MacBook Air’s chunky bezels and dated design, its performance and battery life will impress you. Unlike the M3 MacBook Air, the 2020 model can only power one external display.

M1 MacBook Air for $649 is a steal deal

While Apple has officially discontinued the M1 MacBook Air, there’s no reason not to buy it. At $649, it is also the cheapest way to get a powerful MacBook for daily use. You will still get a standard one-year warranty, which you can extend further with AppleCare+.

Best Buy Selling M1 MacBook Air for $650, a New All-Time Low Price

[ad_1]

Best Buy is selling the 13-inch M1 MacBook Air for $649.99, which is the lowest price that we’ve seen to date on the machine. Best Buy’s price drop comes just hours after Walmart started selling the M1 MacBook Air for $699.

M1 MacBook Air Deals Feature WarmNote: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with some of these vendors. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

Just after Apple announced the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, Best Buy started selling the M1 MacBook Air for $750, so the price has come down $100 in the last 10 days. The model that Best Buy has for $649.99 is the entry-level version with 8GB Unified Memory, an 8-core CPU, a 7-core GPU, and a 256GB SSD.

Apple discontinued the M1 MacBook Air on March 4, which is why we’re seeing such low prices on remaining inventory. The M1 MacBook Air first came out in 2020, so it is four years old at this point, but the Apple silicon chip is still more than adequate for day-to-day tasks. $649 is a great price for those who want to get an Apple silicon Mac while also saving some cash.

As the M1 MacBook Air is no longer being manufactured, available supply is likely to dry up soon. For deals on other Macs, make sure to check out our dedicated Deals Roundup, which we updated regularly.

8BitDo’s NES-inspired mechanical keyboard is on sale for an all-time low price

[ad_1]

8BitDo’s nostalgic Retro Mechanical Keyboard is on sale for an all-time low price today. The Nintendo-esque accessory ships in NES or Famicom-inspired colorways, and it includes two giant red buttons that would look right at home playing Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! or Excitebike. 8Bitdo

Get 8BitDo’s Nintendo-inspired keyboard for an all-time low price.

$85 at Amazon

The 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard supports custom key mapping and works wired or wireless. The “N Edition” takes cues from the NES with an off-white / dark gray / black color scheme. The “Fami Edition” draws inspiration from the Japanese Famicom with a white and crimson color palette.

Both variants have dials and a power indicator with old-school appeal, fitting their retro motif. The Fami Edition pays homage to the Famicom’s 1980s regional availability (and Nintendo’s home country) with Japanese characters below their English ones.

The keyboard’s Super Buttons are bundled accessories you can customize for any action you like. You could assign them as shortcuts to save documents, close windows, attack in games or anything else you feel like. The buttons connect to the keyboard via a 3.5mm jack.

The keyboard lasts an estimated 200 hours on a single (four-hour) charge. It has 87 keys and supports Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless and USB modes. While only officially compatible with Windows and Android, the accessory also works with macOS.
