Boiler Maker Purdue makes its annual trip to Indianapolis when it takes on Davidson.

The No. 1 Boilermakers (USA TODAY) picked up an overtime win at Nebraska that saw Fletcher Loyer score as the Cornhuskers surrounded Zach Edey. Loyer scored 22 points, Edey continued to actively participate (11 points, 17 rebounds, 7 blocks). Purdue scared with 3 points (24.1%) and Nebraska had 19 offensive rebounds, which allowed them to have 14 more shots than Purdue.

Davidson (7-3) beat West Carolina last weekend, rebounding from two-point losses to Charlotte and Delaware. Foster Loyer, yeah, he's Fletcher's brother, led the Wildcats (19.5 points, 31 3-pointers with 41.3 percent accuracy, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals) , assisted by Sam Mennenga (16.6 points, 7.2 rebounds).

Foster Loyer, who played high school in Clarkston, Michigan, played sparingly at Michigan State in three years and thrived his final two years at Davidson. The 6-0 guard averaged 16.1 points on 43.8% 3-point shooting last season.

Foster Loyer was the 2018 Mister Michigan Basketball while Fletcher finished second.

Fletcher Loyer, a 6-4 guard from Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, was already Purdue's second-leading scorer, averaging 13.1 points on 34.4 percent shooting on 3-point range. He played freshman two seasons at high school in Clarkston, Michigan.

Fletcher Loyer was Indiana's Gatorade Player of the Season last season, but Westfield's Braden Smith, his Purdue teammate, is Mr. Basketball.

Purdue's 7-4 players at center were averaging 22.0 points, 13.7 rebounds and 2.3 points per game. He made 61.3% of his baskets and 71.2% of his free throws.
