There have been rumors about a new Apple Ring and now Samsung has revealed that they are working on the Samsung Galaxy Ring and the device is coming later this year, they have a working prototype of the device which you can see in the photo above.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series launches globally

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series went on sale in Korea last month and now Samsung has announced its global launch, the device will be available globally from this month. The range includes the Galaxy Book4 Pro, Galaxy Book4 Pro 360, and the Galaxy Book4 Ultra.

In the UK the Galaxy Book Ultra starts at £2,649, the Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 starts at £1,799, the Galaxy Book4 Pro starts at £1,599, the Galaxy Book4 360 starts at £1,199 and the Galaxy Book4 starts at £649.

“We’re excited for users to experience the intelligence, connectivity and productivity made possible by the Galaxy Book4 series, taking our premium PC lineup to the next level,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. “The Galaxy Book4 series delivers the powerful performance and multi-device connectivity that consumers expect from a high-performance PC in today’s market.”

The Galaxy Book4 series offers intelligent productivity supported by robust hardware performance. Galaxy Book4 Ultra is equipped with the new Intel® Core™ Ultra 9/7 Processor, combining a CPU, GPU and a newly added NPU into a single package, as well as enhanced security with each Galaxy Book model featuring a new discrete Samsung Knox security chip that secures critical system data separately.

Samsung has announced that it is bringing its AI tools to more Samsung Galaxy devices with the release of the new Samsung One UI 6.1 software update. This new software update will be available for a range of Galaxy devices which will include the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series.

With the recent launch of the Galaxy S24 smartphones, Samsung introduced a range of new AI powered features and now these features are also being expanded to the company’s existing range of smartphones and tablets.

Even more Galaxy users will now be able to take advantage of the communication-enhancing Galaxy AI features available on AI-supported models. The features include the ability to adjust message tone and translate messages in 13 different languages using Chat Assist. Galaxy users can experience the power of real-time interactions through Live Translate, which provides voice and text translations for phone calls. With Interpreter, users can also engage in spontaneous conversations with locals while traveling as the split-screen feature generates text translations for live conversations.

The broader integration of Galaxy AI across the Galaxy ecosystem also enables seamless user experience in day-to-day tasks on AI-supported models, driving new levels of efficiency. Search functions are improved through Circle to Search with Google, which generates intuitive search results with a swift circle-motioned gesture. Life-enhancing organisation features such as Note Assist allow users to create formats, generate summaries and translate notes, while Browsing Assistenables individuals to stay up to speed faster by generating comprehensive summaries of news articles. Transcript Assist can also easily transcribe meeting recordings and generate summaries and translations.

Samsung has announced that its Bixby voice-activated assistant now works with a range of Galaxy AI features, These features were launched recently with the new Samsung Galaxy S24 range of smartphones.

The activation of Galaxy AI’s Bixby will extend across all supported languages, including Chinese, English (with variants for the US, UK, and India), French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese (specifically for Brazil), Spanish (for both Spain and Latin America).

Bixby makes it easier to use Galaxy’s intuitive voice-oriented features, like Live Translate. Users can even more seamlessly explore features such as real-time translation, spelling correction, and creation of webpage summaries and automated note covers.

Let’s take Interpreter as an example. Next time you find yourself in conversation with someone who speaks another language, no longer do you need to take a moment to find and click into the Interpreter feature – simply say, “Hi Bixby, turn on Interpreter,” and you’re off.

You can listen to translations through your earbuds, while the other person hears through your phone speaker, helping you to focus better on the conversation and eliminating the need to pass your device back and forth. Plus, you can effortlessly swap the order of speech during the conversation by simply tapping on the buds, without having to manually adjust the order with your phone.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Eco-Friends Accessories Launched

Samsung is launching a new range of accessories for the Samsung Galaxy S24 range of smartphones called Eco-Friends. Samsung has partnered with mobile accessory company SLASH B SLASH and there are a total of 57 cases in the range.

Samsung Eco-Friends, crafted by Samsung’s Future Generation Lab, is a line of eco-conscious accessories like cases and straps, using sustainable materials such as recycled plastic and vegan leather with a minimum of 40% post-consumer materials.

Designs inspired by The Rolling Stones, Queen and other artists offer users another way to express themselves. In particular, Samsung’s collaboration with K-pop boy band Stray Kids lets fans watch videos of their favorite members simply by inserting a near-field communication (NFC) card6 into the case. Each collectible card hosts a unique collection of videos and photos featuring individual Stray Kids members so fans can enjoy a one-of-a-kind, pocketable experience.

Using waste, we are making an effort to convey the values of a circular economy,” said Samsung’s Future Generation Lab. “We will continue to develop accessories that intrigue customers by utilizing various technologies.”

First released in Korea on February 6, Samsung Eco-Friends will soon be available in major markets worldwide7 including the U.S. and Japan. The accessories can be purchased at the company’s immersive Samsung Gangnam flagship store, as well as Samsung.com and SLASH B SLASH’s online mall.
