Olivia Dean just won her very first Grammy, taking home Best New Artist at Sunday’s ceremony.

The “Nice To Each Other” artist took the moment to thank her team, including longtime manager Emily Braham, before paying tribute to her family — Dean is British with Guyanese and Jamaican heritage.

“I’m up here as a granddaughter of an immigrant,” she said onstage accepting her Grammy. “I’m a product of bravery, and I think those people deserve to be celebrated. We’re nothing without each other.”
