Google pulls the plug on the Pixel 6a, paving the way for the Pixel 8a

Google’s Pixel 6a is no longer available for purchase on the company’s digital storefront. We checked out the American, British, European, and Asian websites to see if it could be found anywhere, and nope. It’s completely gone. Even the official protective case is gone. 

Android Authority points out that if you go to the old URL for the Pixel 6a, you’ll instead be redirected to the Pixel 7a. In fact, the Pixel 7a is now the only A-series phone being sold on the platform.
