Microsoft Surface Pro 12th Edition
The new Surface Pro 12th edition in 13-inch continues Microsoft’s flagship 2-in-1 design, allowing users to switch between a tablet and a laptop when paired with the optional Surface Pro Flex Keyboard.
Equipped with either a 10-core Snapdragon X2 Plus or a 12-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor, Microsoft says the Surface Pro 12 delivers up to 53% faster graphics performance than the previous generation.

The Snapdragon X2 Plus variants come with an LCD Touch screen display, while the higher X2 Elite versions are equipped with an OLED Touch screen panel. Both push a 3:2 resolution of 2880×1920 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 600 nits and peak brightness of 900 nits.
For video calls, the device features a 1440p Quad HD ultrawide front-facing camera with automatic Natural Framing to keep users centred during meetings.
Microsoft also offers a detachable Surface Pro Keyboard with a haptic touchpad which is also sold separately. It also supports the optional Surface Slim Pen with 4,096 levels of pressure.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 8th Edition

The new Surface Laptop 8th edition is available in 13.8-inch and 15-inch sizes, targeting professionals, creators and users who need more performance for multitasking and AI workloads.
Like the Surface Pro 12th Edition, the new generation Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X2 processors delivers up to 58% faster graphics performance than its predecessor. Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours for the 13.8-inch model and up to 19 hours for the larger 15-inch version.
Both models feature PixelSense Flow LCD displays, while the 15-inch variant offers a sharper display with pixel density increasing from 201 PPI to 262 PPI. Microsoft also highlights that the Surface Laptop features the highest-ranked laptop camera according to DXOMARK, together with a large haptic touchpad that offers customisable tactile feedback.

The 13.8-inch model comes in Black and Platinum, with the Jade colour exclusive to Harvey Norman Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the 15-inch model is offered in Platinum or Black depending on the configuration selected. Although Microsoft’s global lineup also includes a more compact 13-inch Surface Laptop, only the 13.8-inch and 15-inch Surface Laptop 8 models have been announced for Malaysia.
Snapdragon X2-powered Microsoft Surface devices optimised for AI
As Copilot+ PCs, both Surface devices combine Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 processors with dedicated NPUs that accelerate AI workloads locally.
Microsoft says this enables hybrid AI workflows that can process tasks on-device while seamlessly scaling to the cloud when additional computing power is required.
The new Surface Laptop 8 and Surface Pro 12 will also ship with the Affinity creative suite pinned to the Start menu, giving users immediate access to professional design, photo editing and publishing applications that have been optimised for Surface hardware.
