She is very much alive. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks shared a heartbreaking story about her near-fatal car accident while driving with a "sweet friend" on Wednesday (March 22).
“This photo was taken just before our driver Brent was fortunately able to maneuver the car through a snowdrift as we descended a cliff in Utah. It's a reminder to always be grateful and count on your blessings," the 51-year-old Bravo veteran shared on Instagram on Thursday, March 23, the day after the accident, noting that "it could have been worse."

Yes, the RHOSLC star posted on Instagram that she, Katie and their driver were "safe and sound" after the crash.
"Be careful on the streets, especially this snowy season in Park City that we've been seeing for decades," the jewelry designer shared on social media. "Many times in life we dwell on the unimportant things instead of being grateful for what we have."

Meredith's friend and passenger in the car, Cathy, gave more details about the accident in an Instagram post.
Here's a shot of the snow that continues to fall in Park City this morning as I drove through Meredith Marks after her serious accident last night,” she captioned the two photos on Thursday, March 23. "We are all alive and well. Go home."
According to Kathy's post, several "wonderful people" stopped to offer "help" to the women and their driver after the crash.
"Everyone in this world needs such people. Let's take this opportunity to say thank you to our friends and family who love us every day.” “You never know when an accident might happen.”

Meredith and Cathy do not appear to have been injured in the accident.
