Five improvements we want to see on the Galaxy Buds 3

[ad_1]

Samsung is probably the only brand that can rival Apple in terms of smart device ecosystem. One of the most critical aspects of that ecosystem these days is wireless earbuds, and Samsung already has a good lineup of Galaxy Buds.

In the coming months, it is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds 3, the successor to 2021’s Galaxy Buds 2, and there are some improvements that we want to see on the upcoming earbuds.

Longer battery life

The most significant improvement Samsung needs to bring to its standard wireless earbuds is battery life. Samsung claims the Galaxy Buds 2 can last 5 hours on a single charge with ANC turned on and 7.5 hours with ANC turned off.

Most rival brands with similarly priced earbuds offer much longer battery life: around 8 hours with ANC turned off and 10 hours with ANC activated. If Samsung can match those figures, it will be a quality-of-life upgrade for users, and they will not have to worry about battery life at all.

A better IP rating

Another quality-of-life upgrade that Galaxy Buds 3 needs is a better IP rating. The Galaxy Buds 2 has an IPX2-rated body for some water resistance, but that needs to be at least an IPX5 or IPX6 rating for better ruggedness for situations like light rain or water splashes on the beach.

Dial down on that bass or offer a real equalizer

From the original Galaxy Buds to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Samsung has almost nailed audio tuning. However, despite their dual-drive setup, the Galaxy Buds 2 doesn’t sound as good as the other Galaxy Buds in the lineup. They sound slightly soft and dark, and Samsung needs to dial down the bass a bit and improve the highs for a more enjoyable audio experience.

If Samsung can’t do that, it must offer a real equalizer in the Galaxy Wearable app. Currently, the app only offers preset equalizers, and you can’t alter the individual bands.

A less glossy design

Although compact, the Galaxy Buds 2’s fit isn’t great. The earbuds’ finish is too glossy, and even a little sweat can make them slippery. The case is glossy, too, so they can get scratched more easily compared to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and the Galaxy Buds FE.

For a better overall design and fit, Samsung should opt for the same matte finish as the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for the Galaxy Buds 3.

Improved voice call quality

The Galaxy Buds 2 are average for phone calls, and Samsung needs to step up its game. Wireless earbuds from rival brands, including Apple, Bose, Jabra, OnePlus, and Sony, are objectively better at phone call quality. This is one of those things that a brand like Samsung needs to nail.

Enshrouded beginners tips and quest progression improvements

Enshrouded beginners tips and quest progression improvements
The popular online game Enshrouded has recently undergone significant updates to its quest system, all thanks to the feedback from its dedicated players. These changes are set to enhance the gaming experience by making it more personalized and keeping the excitement alive for every type of player. Whether you’re someone who enjoys playing solo or as part of a team, these updates are tailored to improve your journey through the game.

One of the key updates is the introduction of personal quest completion. This means that players can now complete quests at their own pace, independent of the server’s progress. This is a big shift from the previous system where players had to follow the server’s timeline. The updated Quest Log is another feature that will help players keep track of their individual achievements without getting mixed up with the server’s overall progress.

For those who have felt the frustration of waiting for bosses to respawn, there’s good news. The developers have listened and have now reduced the respawn times to just 30 minutes. This change is aimed at keeping the momentum going and ensuring that players are not left waiting around, but rather spending more time engaging in the action-packed parts of the game.

Enshrouded beginners tips

Here are some other articles you may find of interest on the subject of role-playing games :

Team players have something to look forward to as well. The update has been carefully designed to maintain the benefits of cooperative play. Players who team up can expect better loot odds and will face enemies that adjust in difficulty based on the size of the group. This means that playing with others will not only be more rewarding but will also provide the right level of challenge to keep things interesting.

But the updates don’t stop at quests. The developers have also improved server management tools and introduced new options for non-player characters (NPCs) within players’ bases. These enhancements are meant to give players more control over their in-game environment and to make the experience feel more immersive.

The team behind Enshrouded has shown a strong commitment to its community by implementing these changes. They have made it clear that they are listening to player feedback and are willing to make adjustments to improve the game. And while these updates are substantial, the developers are already hinting at more to come. They promise to keep the community informed and involved in the ongoing development of the game.

For those who are just starting out in Enshrouded, the developers have put together some beginner tips to help new players find their footing. These tips are designed to make the initial experience in the game as enjoyable as possible.

Overall, the recent updates to Enshrouded represent a significant step forward in the game’s development. By focusing on both individual and cooperative play, the developers have found a way to cater to different playstyles and preferences. As the game continues to grow and evolve, these changes will serve as a foundation for a more personalized and captivating gaming experience. Players can look forward to more updates as the developers and the community work together to shape the future of Enshrouded.

New OneNote 2023 features and improvements

Microsoft has this week released some new information on its OneNote app on Windows. The dynamic digital notebook that’s part of the Microsoft 365 suite, continuously receives new features and improvements, enhancing its usability and versatility for users. This guide will provide more information on the latest updates and new features that have been incorporated into the OneNote app on Windows although soon be available.

One significant enhancement in the OneNote app is the enhanced text pen and ink gestures. This feature allows users to convert handwriting into text and edit notes using natural gestures, thereby significantly improving the note-taking experience for users who prefer to use a digital pen or stylus. This feature also includes tools for better annotation, handwritten notes, and drawing, including a new Draw tab and improved ink reliability. The enhanced text pen and ink gestures provide a more intuitive and seamless note-taking experience, aligning the digital experience closer to traditional pen and paper.

In addition to the enhanced ink gestures, the OneNote app on Windows now also features inline text predictions. Similar to those found in Outlook and Word, these text predictions can significantly speed up note-taking by auto-completing words and anticipating the next word or phrase based on the context. This feature not only saves time but also reduces typing errors, making note-taking faster and more efficient.

New OneNote 2023 features

Other articles you may find of interest on the subject of Microsoft apps and services:

The OneNote app on Windows has also introduced new layout options. Users can now opt for a left-sided layout, similar to the ones found in OneNote for the web, Mac, and iPad. This new layout option provides a more consistent user interface across different platforms, making it easier for users to navigate and organize their notes.

Copilot AI

The introduction of the Microsoft 365 Copilot, an AI-powered note-taking partner, is another significant update in the OneNote app on Windows. Available from November, the OneNote Copilot uses artificial intelligence to assist users in creating, capturing, organizing, and recalling information. This feature enhances the usability of the OneNote app, making it a more powerful tool for managing information.

Another notable feature is the ability to preview Stream videos directly within OneNote. This feature allows users to view Stream videos (on SharePoint) without having to switch applications, thereby enhancing the multimedia experience within the OneNote app.

These updates are part of Microsoft’s transition plan to encourage users to switch from OneNote for Windows 10 to the OneNote app. The OneNote for Windows 10 app will no longer be supported from 2025, and the new features and improved sync experience are only available in the OneNote app. The latest OneNote Windows app is available as part of Microsoft 365 and can also be downloaded as a free standalone version from the Microsoft Store.

The OneNote app on Windows continues to evolve, with new features and improvements that enhance the note-taking experience. From enhanced text pen and ink gestures to AI-powered assistance with the OneNote Copilot, these updates aim to make the OneNote app a more powerful, efficient, and versatile tool for managing information.
