Honor Pad 9 12.1 inch Android tablet launched

Honor Pad 9

Honor has launched a new Android tablet, the Honor Pad 9, and the device comes with a 12.1-inch display that features a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and the display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate.

This new Android tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile processor and it features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, there is also an Honor RAM Turbo feature which expands the RAM to 16GB using the storage.

Upholding its dedication to human-centric technology, the HONOR Pad 9 incorporates industry-leading eye comfort features such as Dynamic Dimming that simulates ciliary muscle activity and reduce eye fatigue, ensuring optimal comfort for the human eye. It also comes with HONOR’s Circadian Night Display technology, automatically adjusting the display into warmer colors to reduce the amount of blue light, promoting the secretion of melatonin and ultimately enhancing users’ sleep quality. Earned both TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) Certification and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification, the HONOR Pad 9 provides a comfortable viewing experience, making it the ideal choice for the tech-savvy generation.

This camera system comprises a 50MP Main Camera (f/1.9) with Optimized Image Stability (OIS), a 20MP Telephoto Lens Camera (f/2.4) with OIS, and a 50MP Ultra-wide Camera (f/2.0), delivering unrivaled image quality. The smartphone provides support for a wide range of capture modes, including Night, Zoom, and Time-lapse photography. Additionally, rear and front cameras support 4K resolution, enabling users to create cinematic videos with exceptional clarity and meticulous detail. Adding to its impressive capabilities, the device is equipped with the outstanding HONOR AI Motion Sensing Capture, an intelligent algorithm that automatically detects and captures the most precious moments.

As yet there are no details on exactly when the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design smartphone will be available in Europe and how much it will retail for, as soon. as we get some more details about the handset, we will let you know.

Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design unveiled

Honor has added a new Android smartphone to its range with the launch of the new Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design. The handset comes with a folding display and this includes a 7.92-inch main display and a 6.43-inch cover display.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and it comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, the device has Android 13 and MagicOS 7.2 and it comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and 66W fast charging.

Debuting as the first innovation where HONOR’s human-centric approach meets the purist, functional aesthetics of Porsche Design, the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR features a bold design inspired by motorsports. The flyline of the backside of the industry-leading foldable smartphone is intricately reminiscent of the hood of a Porsche 911. The improved grip provides a sportscar experience in the user’s palm. The PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR comes in the Porsche car color Agate Grey.

In pursuit of convenient portability, HONOR and Porsche Design have jointly refined the choice of materials in the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR to create a pioneering device that weighs only 234g1 and is just 9.9mm2 thick. Incorporating the industry’s first Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield, the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR races ahead of the pack with improvements in display durability, providing enhanced protection to the device. The tenfold improved scratch resistance3 and the hardness rating of over seven on the Mohs scale4 – a scale which indicates the degree of strength of a material – ensures superior resistance to damages.

The handset comes with a range of cameras, on the rear there is a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 20-megapixel telephoto camera, on the front of the handset there is a 16 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Nokia and Honor sign 5G patent license agreement

Nokia has announced that it has signed a new 5G patent license agreement with smartphone maker Honor, Nokia has said that this is the fourth major smartphone maker they have signed a smartphone agreement with in the last 12 months.

Susanna Martikainen, Chief Licensing Officer Mobile Devices at Nokia said: “We are delighted to have concluded an amicable patent cross-license agreement with Honor, one of the leading players in the Chinese smartphone market. It is the fourth major litigation-free smartphone agreement that Nokia has concluded over the past twelve months and highlights once again the strength of Nokia’s patent portfolio and decades-long contributions to cellular standards and other technologies.”

Wenyu Zhou, Head of Global Intellectual Property at Honor said: “As both 5G SEP holder and implementor, Honor highly respects IP rights and strongly believes that reasonable value of IP is important to the development of mobile industry. The conclusion of the patent cross-license agreement shows Honor’s commitment on innovation to enabling a smart life across all scenarios and all channels, for all people.”

Nokia’s industry-leading patent portfolio is built on more than €140 billion invested in R&D since 2000 and is composed of around 20,000 patent families, including over 6,000 patent families declared essential to 5G. Nokia contributes its inventions to open standards in return for the right to license them on fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms. Companies can license and use these technologies without the need to make their own substantial investments in the standards, fueling innovation and the development of new products and services for consumers.

Honor has launched a new smartphone in China, the Honor X50 Pro and the handset features a 6.78-inch OLED display that features a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,652 x 1200 pixels.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and it comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of included storage, the handset does not feature any expandable storage.

The new Honor X50 Pro smartphone comes with a 5800 mAh battery and the device comes with 35W fast charging it also features reverse charging, plus it comes with a fingerprint sensor and Android 14.

The handset comes with a range of high-end cameras, there is a single camera on the front of the device and two cameras on the rear. On the front of the handset, there is a 108-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. On the front of the handset, there is an 8-megapixel camera that is designed for taking selfies and making video calls.

The Honor X50 Pro will be available in a choice of two colors, Green and Black and the handset will retail for CNY 2,799 which is available for $395 at the current exchange rate, the handset is now available in China, there are no details on when it may be available in the USA, UK and other countries.

Honor has unveiled its latest Android smartphone, the Honor X50i+, and the handset comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that features a Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The new Honor X50i+ smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 mobile processor and the handset features a choice of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The handset does not feature a microSD card slot, and it comes with a range of cameras, there is a single camera on the front of the device and two cameras on the rear. On the rear of the handset, there is a 108-megapixel main camera for photos and videos, and there is also a 2-megapixel depth camera.

On the front there is an 8-megapixel camera that is designed for video chat and for snapping selfies, the handset comes with a 45000 mAh battery and it also comes with 35W fast charging and reverse wired charging.

The new Honor X50i+  will come in a choice of four different colors, Green, Pink, Black or Blue and it will retail for CNY 1,599 for the 256GB model or $220, the 512GB model will cost $1,799 or $245.

Honor has launched its latest smartphone the Honor X9b and the handset is the successor to the Honor X9a that debuted back in January. The handset comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile processor and it also comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of included storage.

The Honor X9b comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that features a FullHD+ resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels, the display also features a 120HZ refresh rate and the handset comes with a range of cameras. There are three cameras on the rear and a single camera on the front.

On the front of the new handset there is a 16-megapixel camera that has been designed for taking selfies and making video calls, on the back of the handset there is a 108-megapixel main camera for photos and videos, there is also a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The handset comes with Android 13 and it features MagicOS 7.2, the device also comes with a 5,800 mAh battery and it features 35W fast charging. The Honor X9b smartphone will be available in a range of colors which will include Midnight Black, Sunrise Orange, and Emerald Green, as yet therte are no details on pricing.

The new Play 8T smartphone also comes with Android 13 and MagicOS 7.2 the device features a fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual speakers, it also comes with a choice of three colors, Streaming Silver, Midnight Black, and Jade Green. The handset will retail for CNY 1,099 which is about $150 at the current exchange rate.

The main display on the handset is a 7.9-inch folding LTPO OLED display that features a resolution of 2344 x 2156 pixels and it comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 9.8:9 aspect ratio.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile processor and it comes with a choice of 12GB or 16GB of RAM or 256GB of 512GB of included storage.

Honor Magic Vs2

The new Honor Magic Vs2 comes with a range of cameras,  with three cameras in the rear and two front-facing cameras. On the back of the handset, there is a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 20-megapixel telephoto camera. On each of the two displays, there is a 16-megapixel camera that is designed for making video calls and for taking selfies.

The device also comes with a 5000 mAh battery and it features 6^W fast charging, it will come in a range of colors which include Glacier Blue, CVelvet Black, CVoral Purple, and pricing starts at CBW 6,999 which is about $958 at the current exchange rate.
