Your future child? Former ” Bachelor in Paradise ” stars Dean Engelert and Kailyn Miller-Keys are “hot and cold” about having children in the future, they tell Life & Style exclusively.
“It’s funny, every time I talk about wanting kids, he’s like, ‘I’m not sure.’ Then every time he talks about wanting kids, I’m like, ‘I’m not sure,'” Dean, 31, explained to Life & Style , while hitting the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball red carpet on Friday, December 2 in Los Angeles. “That means, we wouldn’t be having children any time soon.”
The Bachelor Nation alum said that “maybe in five years” he and Kailyn, 27, will “reevaluate and make a plan” to expand their family.
The family planning vows come just weeks after Dean announced he proposed to Kailyn on Oct. 25 after three years of dating. On the “Help! I’m Sock Dating Podcast,” the ABC personality revealed that she was forced to wear a “placeholder ring” when she popped the question because she lost her original engagement ring. ” I can’t wait to marry this man,” Virginia told Life & Style Local, adding that wedding plans are already underway. Of course, “a few members of Bachelor Nation” will be in attendance when they finally tie the knot.
“I’m a great planner,” says Kellyn. “I thought I should be a wedding planner, so I started running and [working].”
Dean, for his part, revealed that they wanted to get married “next fall” after what he called a “brief engagement” on The Bachelor franchise.
“Well, not that small, but Bachelor Nation is small, everyone seems to want to stay busy for as long as possible,” Dean joked. “We’ll have some boys from the National High School there. I don’t know if they are stars, but I’m sure there will be some.’
Dean and Kailyn first met during the filming of Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise . He broke up with her before she left the beach. However, at the end of that season, Dean returned to Mexico and dumped Kailyn. Now, they want to share their Bachelor Nation success stories and love with future Bachelor in Paradise contestants.
