Looking for a Family Plan that offers lots of data for less? Tune Talk has just introduced its Epik+ Family which is said to be Malaysia’s first Prepaid Family Plan that’s packed with more value.
For RM128/month, Tune Talk is offering a whopping 1200GB of 5G data with uncapped speeds, unlimited calls and E-Roaming, that’s shared across 5 mobile lines (1 Principal + 4 supplementary).
This seems to be the prepaid answer to U Mobile’s ULTRA5G Postpaid Family plan which is also priced at RM128/month.
The Tune Talk Epik+ Family aims to provide the best value for your household in a prepaid subscription. The RM128/month plan runs on a 30-day prepaid cycle and users are free to switch at any time with greater flexibility. Subscribers can setup up the Family plan from a single Tune Talk app to manage all supplementary lines.
The plan offers 1200GB of 5G and 4G data that’s shared across all linked supplementary lines. As usual for Tune Talk, the data comes with uncapped speed with no FUP along with speeds of up to 900Mbps. Also included is unlimited calls to all networks.
Tune Talk aims to provide more value than the usual cost per GB proposition. The Epik+ Family plan is bundled with E-Roaming which is essentially Roam Like Home, to ensure that you remain connected in 13 countries at no extra cost.
Currently offered as a Beta, the E-Roaming feature (valued at RM300) allows you to use your home data in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, New Zealand, Australia and Brunei.
Take note that the E-Roaming feature is subject to a daily Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 2GB per day, depending on the country. We are told that this daily FUP is applicable for each individual line under the Epik+ Family plan.
In addition, the Epik+ Family Plan offers free PA Insurance worth RM50. The PA insurance provides coverage of up to RM500,000 as it offers a coverage of RM100,000 per person.
Subscribers also get FoodPanda subscription worth RM34.50 and extra in-app content perks such as Games, Drama and Nova (Astrology) which are worth RM300 in total.
